Research & Development Cell (RDC)

The Research & Development Cell (RDC) is a dedicated institutional body that facilitates the promotion and coordination of research, innovation, and extension activities in alignment with NAAC Criterion III. It aims to create an enabling ecosystem for knowledge creation, dissemination, and application by encouraging faculty and students to undertake quality research, foster innovation, and engage with societal needs through extension initiatives.

Objectives

  • To promote research culture and enhance research productivity among faculty and students
  • To facilitate submission of research proposals and mobilization of research funding from various agencies
  • To encourage publication of research findings in peer-reviewed and indexed journals
  • To support innovation, incubation, and entrepreneurship initiatives within the institution
  • To promote interdisciplinary and collaborative research with academic and industry partners
  • To ensure compliance with research ethics, integrity, and quality standards
  • To create awareness and provide support for intellectual property rights (IPR), patents, and technology transfer
  • To organize workshops, seminars, conferences, and training programmes related to research and innovation
  • To facilitate extension and outreach activities addressing societal and community needs
  • To maintain documentation of research output, consultancy, collaborations, and extension activities for quality assessment and accreditation
