Academic Logistics & Scheduling Committee (ALSC)

The Academic Logistics & Scheduling Committee (ALSC) is responsible for the effective planning and coordination of academic schedules and related logistics. It ensures the systematic organization of timetables, academic calendars, and resource allocation to facilitate smooth curriculum delivery and optimal utilization of institutional infrastructure, in alignment with NAAC quality benchmarks.

Objectives

  • To prepare and implement the institutional academic calendar in coordination with departments
  • To design and manage class timetables ensuring effective curriculum delivery
  • To coordinate scheduling of lectures, practicals, examinations, and academic activities
  • To ensure optimal utilization of classrooms, laboratories, and other academic resources
  • To facilitate coordination among departments for efficient scheduling and logistics
  • To address scheduling conflicts and ensure minimal disruption to academic activities
  • To integrate institutional and university requirements into academic planning
  • To support smooth conduct of academic and co-curricular programmes
  • To maintain records and documentation of schedules and academic planning processes
  • To contribute to effective governance, time management, and quality assurance
