Academic Audit Committee (AAC)

The Academic Audit Committee (AAC) is responsible for conducting periodic academic audits to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching–learning processes, curriculum delivery, and academic practices within the institution. It ensures adherence to quality benchmarks, identifies gaps, and recommends measures for continuous improvement in alignment with NAAC standards and institutional quality assurance mechanisms.

Objectives

  • To conduct internal academic audits of departments and institutional processes
  • To evaluate curriculum delivery, teaching methodologies, and assessment practices
  • To ensure alignment with NAAC quality benchmarks and institutional policies
  • To identify gaps and recommend corrective and improvement measures
  • To monitor implementation of academic plans and outcomes
  • To promote best practices and innovation in teaching–learning processes
  • To ensure proper documentation and maintenance of academic records
  • To support quality sustenance and enhancement through periodic review
  • To coordinate with IQAC for audit planning, reporting, and follow-up actions
  • To contribute to continuous institutional improvement and academic excellence
