Examination Committee (EC)

The College Examination Committee is responsible for the effective planning, coordination, and conduct of internal and university examinations in accordance with institutional and affiliating university norms. It ensures transparency, confidentiality, and fairness in the evaluation process while upholding academic integrity and continuous assessment practices in alignment with NAAC quality benchmarks.

Objectives

  • To plan and conduct internal and semester-end examinations in a systematic and time-bound manner
  • To ensure transparency, fairness, and confidentiality in the examination and evaluation process
  • To implement continuous internal assessment (CIA) as per institutional and university guidelines
  • To coordinate with departments for preparation of question papers, schedules, and assessment criteria
  • To ensure timely declaration of results and maintenance of examination records
  • To address examination-related grievances and ensure redressal mechanisms
  • To promote the use of ICT in examination processes and result management
  • To ensure adherence to rules and regulations of the affiliating university and statutory bodies
  • To prevent malpractices and uphold academic integrity during examinations
  • To maintain proper documentation for audit, accreditation, and quality assurance purposes
