Student Grievance Committee (SGC)

The Student Grievance Committee (SGC) is constituted to address and redress grievances of students in a fair, transparent, and time-bound manner. It ensures that student concerns related to academic, administrative, and support services are effectively resolved, thereby promoting a responsive and student-centric institutional environment in alignment with NAAC quality standards.

Objectives

  • To provide a structured mechanism for students to register grievances
  • To ensure timely and impartial redressal of student complaints and concerns
  • To address issues related to academics, examinations, infrastructure, and student services
  • To ensure transparency, confidentiality, and fairness in grievance handling
  • To promote a student-friendly and inclusive campus environment
  • To create awareness about grievance redressal procedures and available support systems
  • To monitor recurring issues and recommend corrective and preventive measures
  • To maintain proper records of grievances and actions taken
  • To coordinate with relevant departments and committees for effective resolution
  • To contribute to continuous quality improvement and student satisfaction
