Interactive Session by Film Makers At DBC

QUICK BITE - The Mass Communication department of Don Bosco College, Panjim organised a session on "International Film Screening"which was conducted by the Film Makers to share their experiences and knowledge with the students, about spreading awareness through cinema.


An interactive short film screening session was held on 27th January 2023 at the AV Hall of Don Bosco College, Panjim. Acclaimed filmmakers Massi Milaniliano, Mr Albert and Maheshwar Rao shared their knowledge and experiences with the students and promoted the film festival, ‘Life After Oil’.
The session started off with an introductory talk by the filmmakers about the art of spreading awareness through cinema. They drew light to the issue of how the oil industry was affecting the region of Venice in Italy.


4 international short films were screened which left the audience enthralled. Each film had a social message to give out. The short films were Driving Lesson, which highlighted the issues faced by women in Iran, Chedly, which focused on the drug trade, Interstate and The Four Stones from different parts of the world.
The session concluded with the students being given a feedback form where they elaborated on the short film, they enjoyed the most. Lastly, a group picture was clicked of the students with the dignitaries.
