Session On Universal Declaration Of Human Rights

To highlight the importance of human rights, the department of Social Work of Don Bosco College, Panjim, in collaboration with the Taleigao Legal Aid Cell and V.M Salgaocar College of Law on the occasion of International Human Rights Day organised a session on Universal Declaration of Human Rights on December 10, 2021, at Don Bosco College, Panjim-Goa.
The session was conducted by Aashna Pathak, a 4th year, (BA LLB) and Satyesh Shetye, a 5th year (BA LLB) student, of V.M Salgaocar College of Law. Several law students participated in the session online through the Google-Meet platform and explained to the social work students all the articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).
The students gained a lot of knowledge from the fruitful session. Towards the end of the session, Reya Yadav, a student of FY BSW proposed the vote of thanks for an informative session. The session was very well-received. The social work students engaged in a lively discussion on UDHR and took away a lot of important information from the same.
