The Men’s Cricket team of Don Bosco College, Panjim, participated in the Inter-Collegiate Cricket Championship organised by Goa University, held from 5th March to 2nd April 2026 at Goa University Ground. A total of 42 colleges competed in the event, making the tournament highly competitive and showcasing impressive skill and sportsmanship.
The team began their campaign with a strong performance, defeating Government College, Pernem, in the opening match with 67 runs won by 8 wickets. Their confident start reflected disciplined training, teamwork, and strategic play.


In the finals, they faced Goa Medical College in a closely contested match and secured a victory with 123 runs in 12 overs and won by 7 wickets, thereby winning the Intercollegiate Cricket Championship, with Mr Aman Kambli being recognised as the Player of the Match, in the finals.
The team’s overall performance was commendable and brought pride to the college. Their achievement highlights the institution’s continued commitment to promoting excellence in sports alongside academics. The team was guided by Coach Sir Dewaraj Hirekurabar, whose mentorship played a key role in their success.
