The Women’s Cricket team of Don Bosco College, Panjim, participated in the Inter-Collegiate Cricket Championship organised by Goa University Sports Section, held from 23rd March to1st April 2026 at the Dayanand Bandodkar Krida Sankool, Peddem Mapusa and the Goa University Ground. A total of 15 colleges competed in the event, making the tournament highly competitive and showcasing impressive skill and sportsmanship.
The team began their campaign with a strong performance, defeating St. Xavier’s College, Mapusa, in the opening match with 120 runs in 10 overs. Their confident start reflected disciplined training, teamwork, and strategic play.


In the semifinal, they faced Government College, Khandola, in a closely contested match. Despite a spirited effort and strong determination, the team narrowly lost, thereby securing 3rd place in the tournament.
Overall, the team’s performance throughout the tournament was highly commendable and brought immense pride to the college. This achievement highlights the institution’s continued commitment to promoting excellence in sports alongside academics.
