Don Bosco College, Panaji, currently in its Silver Jubilee year, has entered into a formal collaboration with TEDx Panaji by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Thursday, September 3, 2026, to empower student voices and foster holistic youth development.

The partnership designates Don Bosco College as a founding partner institution for Youth Connect, Edition 01: UnMuted, a community-driven initiative fully supported by TEDx Panaji in association with the Corporation of the City of Panaji.

Under the agreement, the college has nominated two student ambassadors—one male and one female—selected for curiosity, openness, and initiative rather than purely academic rank. These ambassadors shall curate a diverse cross-section of 30 students representing varied disciplines, backgrounds and perspectives to take part in experiential learning modules. All sessions will be directed by trained TEDx Panaji facilitators, with Mr. Archie Fernandes, Assistant Professor at Don Bosco College, serving as the designated institutional point of contact for student well-being. Insights gathered will culminate in the Panaji Youth Voices Charter, presenting anonymised data and actionable student perspectives.



The MoU was formally executed by college officials, including College Director Rev. Fr. Kinley D’Cruz and Principal Prof. Teotone Vaz, Faculty Incharge Asst. Prof. Archie Fernandes, alongside TEDx Panaji Licensee and Organizer Ravi Kambhoj, Project Director Sanjana Arya, and Community Lead Dhruv Sugnani.

This collaboration reinforces the institution’s ongoing commitment to maximising student potential through meaningful civic and creative platforms.
