Emotions took centre stage at Don Bosco College, Panjim, on September 10, 2026, as 11 higher secondary school teams participated in PsychAura 2.0. Organised by the Department of Psychology, the fest marked World Suicide Prevention Day and the college’s Silver Jubilee celebrations.


Under the theme “Emotions Unmasked”, each team adopted an emotion as its identity. Students explored psychology through duet singing, dance, role play, poetry, models, an escape room, reels, memes and a mascot showdown. Chief Guest Dr. Peter Castelino, Founder and Managing Director of COOJ Mental Health Foundation, highlighted the importance of emotional regulation and the influence of the digital age.


Sharda Mandir H.S.S. claimed both first and second place, while St. Xavier’s H.S.S. secured the third position. Principal of Don Bosco College, Prof. Teotone Vaz, presented the trophies to the winners.


Combining creativity with psychological exploration, the fest offered young participants a platform to express their emotions and connect classroom concepts with everyday life.
