Cathrine Prisilda holds a Bachelor of Science in Visual Communication from Loyola College, Chennai, and a Master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from St. Aloysius College, Mangalore. With a specialization in Television and Radio Production, she has a strong passion for filmmaking, which has led her to create short films and a documentary.
As an educator, she focuses on creating an engaging and participative learning environment. She encourages students to actively contribute to class discussions and develop confidence in expressing their ideas.
She also motivates students to step beyond their comfort zones, fostering critical thinking and analytical skills, particularly in interpreting content from news and films. Her approach supports the development of thoughtful, informed, and creative individuals.
- Career Highlights
- Madha TV: Contributed to the production team for both indoor and outdoor shoots, authored scripts for two programs, and provided the voice-over for three programs (2016 and 2023).
- TEDx Sac: Served as a member of the production team, focusing on photography and videography (2023).
- Worked as a media centre incharge in School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya Mangalore (February - June 2021)
- Daughters of the Heart of Mary: Currently overseeing website and social media content management (2014 - present).
