
Alois Colaco is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Bachelor of Physical Education, bringing a strong blend of academic excellence and practical expertise to the field. He holds a Master’s degree in Physical Education and a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Applications, and is UGC-NET qualified, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Physical Education.
He has further strengthened his professional profile by earning the AFC ‘C’ Diploma in Football, the AFC Level 1 Futsal Coaching Certificate, and a Diploma in Yoga Applications. Additionally, he has successfully completed the AIFF Futsal Introductory Course as well as the Futsal Referees Course, reflecting his comprehensive involvement in both coaching and officiating.
With over eight years of rich experience in football and futsal coaching and officiating, Mr. Colaco has developed a well-rounded and practical approach to Physical Education. His professional journey spans across multiple levels of education, including both school education and teacher education, enabling him to understand and contribute effectively to diverse learning environments.
His key areas of interest include Anatomy and Physiology, Officiating and Coaching, Organisation and Management, and the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Physical Education. Through his teaching and professional practice, he is committed to delivering a holistic, innovative, and contemporary learning experience.
