Ms Vindiya Gauns is an Assistant Professor of Konkani with a strong passion for teaching, lifelong learning, and the study of Konkani folklore. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Konkani and a Bachelor of Education degree and has qualified for the UGC-NET and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).
She served as an Assistant Professor of Konkani at Fr. Agnel College of Arts and Commerce, Pilar, Goa, from 2020 to 2025. She subsequently taught at St. Joseph Vaz College, Cortalim, Goa, during the academic year 2025–2026.
As an educator, she is committed to promoting the Konkani language and helping students appreciate its literature, culture, and rich folkloric traditions.
