Shantanu Arlekar holds a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from NBN Sinhgad School of Computer Studies (NBN SSOCS), Pune, affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University (formerly University of Pune). He is NET and SET qualified. His area of specialization is ASP.NET, and has successfully worked on multiple projects developed on the same platform.
He is certified in Big Data and Hadoop technologies, reflecting his interest in emerging trends in computing and data-driven technologies. He has served as the Head of the Training, Internship, and Placement Cell at Don Bosco College, contributing towards student career guidance and industry interaction initiatives.
Beyond academics, he has actively played a key role in organizing and managing major institutional events. He has been the Faculty In-charge of the college’s flagship inter-college event Meteora and is also the creator of Colossus, the annual IT fest of the Department of Computer Applications, which provides students with a platform to showcase their technical, creative, and organizational skills.
