The Faculty incharges of Biz Club along with the Principal, Chief Guest and Guest of Honour
The BIZ Club of Don Bosco College, Panjim, was officially inaugurated on 26 July 2025 at the AV Hall in the presence of Dr Cedric Silveira (Officiating Principal), Mr Aditya Dalvi (Founder, Dalvi Ventures LLP – Chief Guest), Mr Kashyab Bhonsle (Branch Manager, HDFC Mutual Funds – Guest of Honour), along with faculty in-charges Asst. Prof. Divina A Dias (Convenor), Asst. Prof. Vandana Patil, and Asst. Prof. Chetan Bagaria.
Chief Guest Mr Aditya Dalvi delivered an engaging session on financial literacy tailored for young minds. Through relatable examples and real-world insights, he helped students understand key investment avenues such as debt, equity, mutual funds, real estate, gold, and silver. He also shed light on the implications of insurance and loan products, enabling students to make more informed financial decisions in the future.

The Guest of Honour Mr Kashyab Bhonsle offered a practical and accessible explanation of mutual fund investments, focusing on the benefits of Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs) and the impact of compounding. His talk empowered students to start thinking long-term and take the first steps toward financial independence.
The session helped students:
• Recognize the value of early investments
• Understand various types of financial instruments
• Appreciate the importance of budgeting, planning, and disciplined investing
• Gain beginner-level confidence in mutual fund options like SIPs
The event proved to be an inspiring and educational launch for the BIZ Club. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Convenor, Assistant Professors Divina A Dias.
