FiiRE - Industry Collaboration

"Forum for Innovation Incubation Research and Entrepreneurship is a Technology Business Incubator established with the support of Department of Science and Technology, Government of India under the National Initiative to Develop and Harness Innovation. FIIRE is dedicated towards helping move the startup process from the garage to the laboratory. FIIRE implements a structured incubation process to make the startups investable and leverage the strengths of the ecosystem to help startups scale faster. FIIRE aspires to be the ‘GO TO’ Technology Business Incubator in the country supporting one hundred startups by 2023.

Goa Management Association - Industry Collaboration

Goa Management Association (GMA) is a vibrant local Management Association formed in 1975 and affiliated to the All-India Management Association (AIMA), New Delhi. This was set up to represent the interests of the Management practitioners, professionals and students in Goa and to promote and develop education and research in the discipline of Management.
Our institution, Don Bosco College, Panjim signed a Memorandum of Association (MoU) with GMA on September 13, 2022 to establish a programme for cooperation in areas of mutual interest and in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the MoU.

BOSCH CSR Industry – Academia Collaboration Initiative

Bosch is a leading supplier of technology and services in the areas of Mobility Solutions, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, Energy, and Building Technology. Additionally, Bosch has in India the largest development Centre outside Germany, for end-to-end engineering and technology solutions. For over 60 years, Bosch in India has developed extensive expertise in the realm of occupational training. Since the establishment of Bosch Vocational Centre (BVC) in 1961, Bosch has successfully implemented the German 'Dual' Model of vocational training suited to Indian industry requirements.
In line with the direction given in the National Education Policy’20 and to support the agenda of ‘Employable Vocational Education and Skill Development’ in higher education, Bosch is planning to support few selected Universities/Colleges/Institutes as a part of their CSR- Industry Academia Collaboration initiative.

  • Bosch Limited offered Don Bosco College, Panjim the following programs as part of their Bosch CSR Industry Academia Collaboration Initiative. Bosch will support in providing the Training materials which should be used as per Bosch Guidelines and the Course content developed by them for the following topics.
  • Skill Entrepreneurship for you.
  • Future Human Competencies (Future Skills)
  • The Making of a developed country (Soft Skills & right attitudes)
  • Social Responsibility One faculty from the institution would be given an opportunity to undergo Train the trainer program, if approved by Bosch. Approved trainer will be invited for an online “Train the Trainer” program. Bosch has already provided the college with Books and Digital content for the Industry-Academia Collaboration.

Nirmala Institute of Education, Panjim- Academic Collaboration

Nirmala Institute of Education, Panjim, Goa, a secondary Teacher Education Institute was established in 1963 by the Society of the Daughters of the Heart of Mary in response to the urgent need for a trained teacher in the post liberation Goa.

St. Joseph Vaz Educational Society- Academic Collaboration

St. Joseph Vaz Educational Society, having realized the need of opening an Institution of Higher Education, decided to establish a College of Science named St. Joseph Vaz College to perpetuate the memory of the first Goan Saint for posterity. The College, located in Cortalim, is running an undergraduate course in Science faculty.
