The annual sports day is the most awaited event by the students and staff of Don Bosco College, Panjim. Sportsmania is organised every year in the month of February by the Department of Physical Education with the objective of ‘Fitness for All.' Packed with action, Sportsmania entails a variety of sports events such as Tug of War, Futsal, Obstacle Race, Dodgeball, Touch Rugby, Cricket, etc. as well as the customary athletic events.
Initially, the staff had separate events such as Blind Throwball and Catching the Hen. Over the course of the years, however, the faculty members have been encouraged to join the various class teams thereby providing extra points to teams that include the faculty members. The day is filled with cheerful chants and exuberant participants who give fierce competition to their opponents in every event organised.
