Organisers, judges and student participants
The Literary Committee in association with the Library Department of Don Bosco College, Panjim, organised a patriotic poster making competition on the theme ‘My Vision for India’, in the college library.
The competition was held with an aim to promote creativity among students as well as instill the feeling of patriotism among them. Students were permitted to use water colours, oil pastels, colour pencils, bits of coloured paper, etc.
A total of 16 students from across the various departments participated in the competition. Judges for the competition were Assistant professor of Physical Education, Ajinkya Kudtarkar and administrative staff, Mr Sandesh. Students were judged on originality, creativity, neatness and adherence to theme.

First was won by students of TY BAMC, Prachi Shirodkar and Siya Chodankar, while the second place was secured by FY BAMCJ students, Amala Krishnan and Mahi Shaikh.
Winners were presented with certificates and the posters were kept on display in the college library.
Faculty in charge of the competition were Literary Committee members, Assistant Professors, Alisha Nicole Carvalho, Jude Fernandes, Marina Martins and Library department members, Gopi Naik and Pranita Mhapsekar.
