The students of Don Bosco College Panjim, participated in Pegasus Legends 2025, on January 15 and 16, organised by the Department of English at Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts and Science, Autonomous, Margao.
A select group of 20 students from the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and Journalism programmes participated with enthusiasm and determination, emerging victorious in several categories. The participants demonstrated exceptional talent and received accolades across a wide range of competitions. In the Treasure Hunt event, Lizanne Joseph and Piyush Jadhav from SYBA secured the first place, while Niharika Silveira (FY BAMCJ), Sostika Sunar, Britney Barreto and Jacqueline D’Souza from SYBA secured the second place in the Sashay (Dance competition) event. In the installation art event, Ruchal Mahale from FYBA secured the second place while Davina Piradesi, Achilles D’souza from FYBA along with Stella Lopes (FY BAMCJ) and Kimberley Murzello (FY T&T) secured the second place in the Rampage (prop and pose) event. Additionally, Heena Pirankar (SYBA) secured the second place for Hand painting and Achilles D’Souza, Niharika Silveira, Ganesha K.C (SYBA) and Siddharth Kittur (FY BBA) secured the third place for the Globe theatre event.
The students represented the college under the guidance of the Programme Coordinator, Assistant Professor Alisha Nicole Carvalho and the faculty in-charge, Assistant Professor Jyoti Pandey, who accompanied them at the event.
The event served as a platform for students to showcase their skills in a multitude of literary and artistic disciplines, from theatre, poetry, dance, singing, editing, production, culinary and installation art.
