The Department of Physical Education and Sports, Don Bosco College, Panjim, organised the Interclass Traditional Games on 23 January 2026 on the college ground. Six classes participated in traditional events including Langdi, Sack Race, and Tyre Race, promoting fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
WINNERS OF SACK RACE FYBA PSY
TYBCA A emerged winners in the Langdi event, with FYBA as runners-up. The Sack Race was won by FYBA Psychology, followed by TYBCA A. In the Tyre Race, TYBBA secured first place, while TYBAMCJ finished second.

A special Tyre Race for faculty members added to the excitement, with Mr Dewaraj Hirekurabar securing first place, followed by Mr Alois Colaco and Mr Pratamesh Salgaonkar. Principal Prof. Teotone Vaz also participated in the event.
Overall, TYBBA emerged champions with 200 points, while FYBA Psychology and TYBCA A jointly secured second place with 195 points each. The prize distribution was graced by Rev. Fr. Kinley D’Cruz, Director of the College. The event concluded on a successful note, reflecting the college’s commitment to sports and holistic development.
