The Department of Computer Applications at Don Bosco College, Panjim, organized an intensive one-day workshop on Mobile Development for its Third-Year Bachelor of Computer Applications (TYBCA) students on 22 January 2026. The event saw a cohort of 28 students gaining hands-on experience in building modern mobile applications.
The workshop was facilitated by Mr. Mohsin Shaikh, Founder Director of Hazetech, a leading tech firm. Mr. Shaikh provided students with a roadmap of the mobile app lifecycle, focusing on industry-standard frameworks. The highlight of the day was the "Live Build" session, where students deployed their first functional app modules under expert supervision

"Our goal is to ensure our students aren't just coding in a vacuum but are building products that meet real-world market demands," said Asst. Prof. Palash Raikar, the event coordinator.
The session concluded with a formal valedictory where Asst. Prof. Ms. Shreesha PJ presented a certificate of appreciation to Mr. Shaikh. Student coordinator Ms. Pearl Fernandes delivered the vote of thanks, noting the workshop's impact on their upcoming final-year projects.
