The Institutional Social Responsibility (ISR) Cell of Don Bosco College, Panjim, in collaboration with the Women Development Cell organised a Donation Ceremony on March 9, 2026. The event coincided with the celebration of International Women’s Day.
The primary objective of the activity was to promote menstrual health and hygiene while supporting the physical wellness facilities available within the institution. To achieve this, the college reached out to Mr. Denzil Xavier, a reputed real estate consultant and philanthropist, who served as the donor for this initiative. During the ceremony, the institution received a sanitary napkin vending machine and a foldable bed, both of which were aimed at addressing the healthcare needs of women on campus. Through this activity, the college demonstrates its ongoing commitment to health equity and the holistic wellbeing of its stakeholders.
