A five day football tournament was organised by Don Bosco College, Panjim, in which a total of 15 colleges came forward and displayed their exceptional sporting abilities. After the exciting preliminaries which spanned four days, the final match was held on Saturday, 28 May 2022, on the college ground.
The match kicked off at 9:30 AM with the players displaying their enthusiasm and getting the crowd excited to witness a competitive battle on the field. At the end of the first half, the right winger from Fr. Agnel College, Pilar, crossed the ball in, scoring a perfect goal and giving his team a lead.


The match went on with great intensity as the players fought for a common goal. At the halftime mark, the dignitaries and the chief guest wished the players good luck for the remaining half. By the end of the second half, MES College, Zuarinagar, obtained a penalty kick, getting the perfect opportunity to bring the score to 1-1. However, the intense pressure of the moment prevented their team from converting it into a goal.


After a well-executed game, Fr Agnel College, Pilar, celebrated their hard-earned victory. With the final whistle, Fr Joaquim Lobo, Director of the college and the Chief Guest for the day, congratulated the winners, the runners up and all the other teams for their perseverance and hard work.
For the much-awaited prize distribution, Fr Lobo was accompanied by the other dignitaries- Dr. Cedric Silveira, Fr. Milton Rodrigues and Prof Savio Faleiro - as they awarded the respective teams and individuals with trophies and medals bringing the successful event to a close.
