This September 26th 2022, the Department of Business Administration, Travel and Tourism of Don Bosco College, Panjim, organized their annual event "Magnify" to commemorate the world tourism day which is celebrated globally on 27th September.


The Chief Guest Mr.Amin Ladak, Chairman GMA, Mr.Charles Bonifacio Member of GMA, Director Rev. Fr. Joaquim Lobo, Principal, Dr. Cedric Silveira, event Coordinator Ms. Glenda Mascarenhas and student event incharge Wyatt D'Souza were the dignitaries present on the dais. The Colleges that participated in the event were St.Xavier's college, Salgaoncar Institute of International Hospitality , DMC, Dempo, Goa University, Rosary college and Damodar college.

The event began with the College Anthem followed by a welcome speech by Fr.Joaquim and a few words from Chief Guest Mr.Amin Ladak. The participants from various colleges presented their documentaries based on the theme “Rethinking Tourism”, and a colourful fashion show followed on the same lines. The departmental students presented an amazing Goan dance at the inaugural and a medley of traditional Goan songs was sung by the same before the valedictory function. The overall winners were Dempo College while Rosary College secured the second place. Ms. Vandana Patil delivered the vote of thanks. Overall the event was a wonderful experience for the participants and students of the college.
