Club Filmatics of Don Bosco College, Panjim, in association with the Department of Mass Communication organised a press conference on February 26, 2024 to brief the media about the upcoming intercollegiate event ‘Filmbuster’ that will be held on 28th February 2024 at Don Bosco College, Panjim.
Speaking to the press, faculty in-charge of Filmatics and assistant professor, Sonika Lotliker stated that it is the first media event especially curated for media students in Goa. She added that the event is designed keeping in mind that it will help the students use their creativity and bond over a filmmaking experience. President of the club, Devonna Gomes revealed the exciting lineup of events, including stop motion, fashion shows, dance, and more, which will have a twist that will be revealed on the day of the event. She also stated that the traditional Mr. and Miss Pageant will explore the journey of filmmaking and creativity.


Principal of the college, Dr. Cedric Silveira added that Club Filmatics has been organising events for the students of the college throughout the year and contributing to their growth. Media Coordinator, Mario Pimenta stated that media played a crucial role in amplifying the voice of the Filmatics Club.
Vice President Joel Rodrigues delivered the vote of thanks, expressing his gratitude to the Filmbuster team, event in-charges, volunteers, sponsors, and press for their support. He then extended the invitation to the press and guests to attend Filmbuster.
