Jude Fernandes completed his B.A. in English (Honours) at M.E.S. Vasant Joshi College of Arts and Commerce, M.A. at Goa University and B.Ed. at Nirmala Institute of Education. He has taught NEP-compliant courses like Performing Arts, Theatre Art, Communicative English: Spoken and Written, Digital Content Creation in English, Film Appreciation, Culture Study Through Film: America, Creative Writing and News Reporting & Editing, in addition to literature-specific courses like Introduction to English Literature, World Literatures, Diasporic Goan Literature, British Literature: Early 20th Century and Popular Literature. His areas of interest include young adult fiction and contemporary Goan theatre.

• Presented research papers at 1 state-level, 10 national and 8 international conferences.
• Represented Goa for the Declamation Competition at the National Youth Festival in Nashik (2024).
• Was awarded at the Goa University Convocation for securing the first rank for M.A. in English (2020-2022).
